This rocker needs new spokes and the top section is a mess. Someone tried to repair by splicing pieces of reed where the spokes were missing, didn't work long. The rest of the rocker is in very good condition.

Hello, Andersons Restorations:
What amazing work you do! I was doing some research on painting cane back chairs, as I just purchased a pair recently and am interested in giving them a modern overhaul. Would love to send them to you, but I'm all the way in New Jersey; shipping would be prohbitively expensive, I think.
Do you have any advice on painting cane back chairs? Should I use a paint sprayer? Will a consumer model from Home Depot work?
I can be reached via email at sadia.bruce at gmail dot com. Thanks in advance for any information you might be able to give me.
