Quality Control Team

Here's our quality control team during their break. The're tough but fair and the work for treats!

Wicker Table-Desk

A very nice wicker piece that needs some attention. The top veneer is missing and the wood core has come apart. The braid around the top is rotten. It would take much more time to repair then just replace with a new piece. Our plan is to use a piece of Tiger Oak 3/4 ply for the new top since the customer wanted to have it natural rather then painted and make new braid.

Here's the top removed. All the veneer is missing from the top, the glue has left the top in pieces.

This shows the new top with the leg and spoke holes drilled. We needed to replace all the spokes, the wire in most had broken.

Here's the finished top with the new edge braid. It's hard to see, but it's Tiger Oak. Customer should get many years use out of this piece.
